Miss High School/Collegiate America Pageant in San Antonio!

Hi
I am in San Antonio waiting to watch the Miss High School America Pageant and the Miss Collegiate America.

We are sponsoring Despina Ades, Miss Illinois High School;

;

Chelsea Reardon, Miss Illinois Collegiate;


and Gina Melchiorri, Miss Iowa Collegiate.

They have had a fun week- going to a ranch, going to Sea World, the famous San Antonio Riverwalk, the magnificent Alamo and of course, autograph signing.

Preliminary competition starts tonight and you can watch it too! Check out the website for the link but there is a charge ;(. The girls will be competing in
fun fashion, evening gown, on stage question and of course interview which they have tomorrow.

The finals are tomorrow night so I can’t wait to see everyone. They are doing
great and are perfect representatives for us!! Wish them all luck!!!! I’ll keep

Update on America’s Next Top Model Casting Call at Bridal Elegance

Casting call in OTTAWA!

AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL had its Midwest casting call at Bridal Elegance last week. With 80 contestants and several hundred people, girls from many states
were present to win a chance to star on the reality tv show. There were girls
from Texas, Ohio, Colorado and many more as well as many girls from all over
Illinois. WHOI CW out of Peoria ran the auditions and kept everything running
like clockwork. Each contestant registered and was assigned a number. The
contestants were to bring a headshot as well as a swimsuit shot for the judges.
Our local judges were Dennis Van Der Ginst, the National director of the
American Spirit Pageants system; Kristi Maag, a TV producer and the reigning
Miss Heart of Illinois, and Gretchen Carlson, TV anchor. Mark Welp was the
emcee and interviewed the contestants after they had a photo session, did their
runway walk which was filmed and then met the judges. The local winners who
will be offered local modeling jobs will be announced next week on our TV
segment on WHOI.

All contestants’ videos are submitted to the TV show in NYC and its producers
and directors will decide which contestants will make it to the TV show.

We at Bridal Elegance truly enjoyed welcoming America’s Next Top Model back to
our store and look forward to working with them again in the future!
